the process is the artwork

To be an artist is to be a victim, because if you don’t do what you want, you die.

Gotta love Jodorowsky…for being so fresh!

“Most directors make films with their eyes; I make films with my testicles” (1)

“Laughter is a formidable discharge from rationality” (2)

“The human being is an incestuous animal. Starting from Adam and Eve, the myth is incestuous. Adam and Eve. They are the first two. Who are their sons gonna sleep with? With the daughters.” (3)

“The multitude, the people in general, only change their level of consciousness when they are in serious trouble, like for example an ecological disaster or terrorism. Th multitude is afraid of archetypes because archetypes are contents of high level of consciousness  and this produces fear in people who don’t wish to change. Every time we confront archetypes, we are confronting a dissolution of the identity” (4)

“We have invented eternal and time, but in the reality of the universe, eternity and infinity are just human words.” (5)
